Eating on the West Side
Waikele has an outlet mall but also places to eat like Chili’s, McDonald’s, KFC, Genki Sushi, Jurisons Inn, and Restaurant Kunio. Hubby and I decided to go to Restaurant Kunio for brunch. The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. so that was perfect.

The Counter has been voted the No. 1 burger place by some. Sorry to differ but I don’t think so. Hubby and I went to the Counter on July 4th for dinner.

Teddy’s Bigger Burger’s new location is 2424 S. Beretania Street on the corner of Isenberg and Beretania. Hubby and I had to check this place out as we drove pass the restaurant every week waiting for it to open.
Full Article »Sansei’s Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar
Hubby and I were invited out to dinner on Monday night to Sansei’s. On Sunday and Monday, Sansei’s has an early bird ‘local special’ with 50% off sushi, appetizers, entrees, and desserts with the exception of items with an asterick. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. From Tuesday to Saturday, there is a 25% discount but reservations can be made. Read on for my experience and impressions.
