Bandana’s Bar B-Q or is it Bananas?

If you like barbecue and ribs, try Bandana’s Bar-B-Q (http://www.bandanasbbq.com). Bandana’s has two locations in Missouri that I know of, one in Osage Beach at 4315 Hwy 54 and the other in Jefferson City at 2336 Missouri Boulevard.

I like ribs and barbecue. It doesn’t matter if it’s messy or not. Bandana’s Bar-B-Q is Southern style which is seasoned with a “dry rub” and cooked without a sauce in a smoker. You add the barbecue sauce when you eat the ribs, etc.

Ron and I shared a combination. We chose the ribs, smoked sausage, and chicken which is served with garlic bread and two sides for $12.99. Sides include fries, BBQ beans, cole slaw, or potato salad. Fried corn or a side salad can be substituted for an additional 99 cents.

There were 5 different types of sauces, original, sweet & smoky, hot, spicy, and I believe a Kansas City style. I liked the sweet & smoky and KC style the best.

The food was delicious and plentiful. Try it, I think you’ll like it.
