First Annual Restaurant Week - November 16-22, 2008

The week of November 16 should be paradise for foodies. A host of restaurants (including Orchids, Le Bistro, OLA, Roy’s, The Pearl and Nobu’s Waikiki) will feature special prix fixe menus, discounts, or promotions. This is the time to try that special restaurant at reasonable prices and support the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head.

An example of the specials is the menu at Nobu’s Waikiki which will include choice of Field Green Salad, Shiitake Salad or Palm Salad. Entrees include choice of Sushi or Sashimi Dinner, Tenderloin of Beef (choice of Anticucho, Balsamic Teriyaki or Wasabi Pepper Sauce) or Black Cod with Miso. Dessert is Coriander Roasted Pineapple with Calpico Ice Cream. Cost of this special menu is $32.

The prix fixe menu at Roy’s Hawaii Kai will include dim sum style appetizer consisting of Crispy Chinatown Chicken Spring Roll, Szechuan Baby Back Ribs, and Blackened Ahi, choice of Misoyaki Pork Pot Roast, Pan Roasted Shrimp & Lemongrass Spaetzle or Macadamia Nut Hawaiian Fish, and Mini Hot Chocolate Souffle and Macadamia Nut Tart and will also be $32.
