Brunch in Waikiki – Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

Ever since we went to Wolfgang’s for lunch and saw that they served brunch, I’ve wanted to try their version of eggs benedict. Hubby wanted to eat out for breakfast today so I suggested that we go to Wolfgangs Steakhouse at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

When we reached the restaurant at 11 a.m. there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant so we weren’t sure that they were open.

Hubby ordered the $10 sirloin burger special which isn’t on the menu + $1 for cheese and I ordered the eggs benedict which came with hash browns ($12). I think the burger was either 6 or 8 ounces.

The sirloin burger was huge and came with onion rings and french fries. Hubby wasn’t able to eat it all so we have leftovers.

My eggs benedict had two thin slices of filet mignon on two slices of french bread instead of an English muffin. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and so good with the eggs. I ordered my eggs scrambled instead of poached and they came out moist and delicious. The eggs benedict came with hash browns which I barely ate. We took home a lot of potatoes.

Brunch at Wolfgang’s was relaxing and filling. The view overlooks Kalakaua Avenue but the service is great and the food quite good. If you want something different for brunch, Wolfgang’s is a nice change.

You can also order from the lunch or dinner menu. The couple that sat next to us ordered a 32 ounce Porterhouse steak.

Validated parking is available. We paid just a $1 for parking which isn’t bad for Waikiki.
