On the Road… Chick-fil-A

One of my favorite foods is fried chicken and one of my fave places to eat is Chick-fil-A. The first time I ate at a Chick-fil-A restaurant was in Iowa.

That was a long time ago in a place far, far away. Hawaii does not have a Chick-fil-A. However, while in Missouri, hubby and I spotted a Chick-fil-A and knew where we wanted to eat for lunch.

I ordered the 12 nugget meal with lemonade ($6.99 + $0.20 for the lemonade) to share with hubby and JF ordered the chicken salad sandwich ($3.89). So yummy, the nuggets are chicken breast pieces cooked in peanut oil. They are so good. However, if you are allergic to peanuts, please don’t eat the nuggets.

JF, who lives in Missouri, had never eaten at a Chick-fil-A. She enjoyed her chicken salad sandwich and said that she would eat at Chick-fil-A again. She also tried a nugget and said that they were good.

Hubby liked the nuggets so much, I purchased another 12-piece of nuggets ($4.25) to go.

Chick-fil-A Restaurants are in over 35+ states and expanding. Presently, there are no plans to come to Hawaii but I can hope.

If you see a Chick-fil-A restaurant, stop for some nuggets or the ono lemonade that is made fresh with lemons, sugar, and water. If you eat in, drinks are refreshed free. I had two refills of lemonade at the Saint Peters location.

The staff were efficient, pleasant, courteous, and friendly.
