Hubby and I eat fruits for breakfast at home so when we are vacation, hubby likes to go out for a nice breakfast. We like the breakfast at 808 Bistro. However, we wanted to try something different so decided on Gannon’s.
We didn’t have any reservations but there was only one other couple eating breakfast. Hubby ordered the UpCountry Breakfast ($9) which consisted of two eggs, bacon, toast and roasted potatoes and I ordered the Lilikoi Lacquered Pork Chop ($19) which came with fried rice and an egg.
Hubby had his eggs scrambled but when it was served, it looked like an omelette. He said that he prefers the food at 808 Bistro better although the view at Gannon’s is gorgeous. My pork chop was okay. I’ve had better fried rice and for the price expected more.
The ambience at Gannon’s is very nice but to my husband & I, the food tasted better at 808 Bistro. The Upcountry Breakfast is actually less expensive at Gannon’s than 808 Bistro. Try them both and decide for yourself.
Gannon’s is located at 100 Wailea Golf Club Drive. Breakfast is served from 8:30 – 11 a.m. daily.
