Even though Tommy Bahamas is a chain restaurant, I’ve never been to one of their restaurants before so I decided to eat there on our last night in Maui. We made reservations on opentable for 7 p.m. The restaurant was packed so I’m glad we had a reservations.
On the recommendation of our server, RM ordered the macadamia nut snapper ($39.50) and I ordered two appetizers…the crab cakes ($12) and ahi tacos ($15.50) for my dinner. RM really liked his snapper. The fish was moist, perfectly cooked and light. The crab cake and the ahi tacos were also both delicious.
I ordered the creme brûlée ($11.50) for dessert which was also spot on.
Our dining experience at Tommy Bahamas was very good with attentive service. Dinner with drinks and tips was a little over $100.
Presently, there are no Tommy Bahamas on Oahu. However, a restaurant is supposed to open this year in Waikiki near Hard Rock.
I would recommend going to Tommy Bahamas. The food and service is good.
