Foodie. In one word, that describes me. Some people eat to live, others live to eat. I live to eat.
Food is one of my passions. I majored in Food and Nutrition at the University of Hawaii and interned at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, Calif. and became a dietitian and worked as a nutritionist for over a decade in various capacities.
I love to eat and try different kinds of food. I like to cook too but I’d rather eat. My husband Ron McElfresh (my eating companion) has been dragged to many a restaurant that I just had to try.
Majoring in food and nutrition gave me the standards for quality. This Web site is my personal review based on my experience and background. It’s my attempt to record some information that will be useful to others and not be outdated once it’s printed.
